If you missed the boat getting braces, you might be considering getting Invisalign as an alternative. If you are looking to pay for Invisalign without insurance, there are options!

Orthodontic treatment is not cheap, and even Invisalign treatment is quite pricey. While most insurance plans will often not cover the cost of Invisalign, there are other ways to pay for an orthodontist, including a small loan when you do not have the needed dental insurance coverage.

Getting financed doesn't have to be stressful if you work with Max Cash® Title Loans!

What are the Benefits of Invisalign?

While braces from an orthodontist will stay on your teeth until they are removed, the Invisalign aligners work a different way. Not only can they be removed, but they are also clear aligners! Invisalign can be a great way to obtain straight teeth! With no metal and clear aligners, they can quickly get you to your goal without the need for braces.

The retainers fit to your teeth, so you can floss anytime you want and maintain your oral health. Each aligner is custom made for your teeth, and they will change week by week to get you to your perfect smile.  You can eat whatever foods you want, as the aligners can be removed to eat!

Depending on the crookedness or severity of your teeth, you could be done in six to eighteen months. While Invisalign is a great alternative, it is not the right dental plan for everyone.

Who is Invisalign Right For?

While Invisalign is a great alternative to braces, not everyone will qualify. You are an applicant for Invisalign if you want to correct:

  • Crowded Teeth
  • An Underbite
  • An Overbite
  • Gaps in Your Teeth
  • Crossbite
  • Slightly Crooked Teeth
  • An Open Bite

However, if you have the following issues, Invisalign may not be the best option:

· Extremely Crooked Teeth: If your teeth have too much severity in crookedness, you may not qualify as a patient. Your orthodontist might recommend other treatment or traditional metal braces if your teeth have become too crooked.

· Too Young:  If you are younger, your teeth are developing and growing at a fast rate. Unfortunately, the aligners will not be able to keep up with that pace. Teenagers are often not eligible for Invisalign.

· Not Sticking to The Schedule: If you choose Invisalign, you must commit to keeping them in! While they can be painful at first to adjust to, they will help you if you stick to the schedule. If you have no discipline, it can be tempting to leave them out! Make sure you commit to keeping them in and on schedule if you choose Invisalign.

And so basically, if you have severe dental issues, you will not be a good candidate for Invisalign. The aligners are meant to correct small issues to help make a perfect smile, but there is a limit to their powers! If you only need small corrections to your smile, Invisalign is right for you.

Options to Pay for Invisalign Without Insurance

The cost of your treatment will depend on your own personal treatment plan. Generally, the cost of Invisalign treatment is $3,000-$5,000.You may have to pay for Invisalign out of pocket, even if you have insurance!

Most dental insurance plans will cover Invisalign, but they will only cover a percentage of the cost. Some insurance companies have a cap on orthodontic treatment to a certain dollar limit.

WIth a title loan through Max Cash Title Loans, you could have the funds as soon as the same day!

With or without insurance, you may need to find a way to pay for the treatment.

Here are some ways to cover your treatments and save money, with the pros and cons attached:

1. An FSA or HSA:

An HSA is a health savings account, and an FSA is a flexible savings account. These may be options provided by your employer.

An FSA is a flexible spending account that will allow you to put aside percentages of your paycheck throughout the year to help build up your account.

With an HSA, you will need a high-deductible health insurance plan. An HSA acts as a special healthcare savings account that can be used for both dental and medical costs, with the limit being $3,400 for individuals. For families, the limit is $6,750.

Not all employers will offer these accounts, however, and you must meet the IRS eligibility requirements. To learn more about these options, check your benefits package.

2. CareCredit:

CareCredit is a special credit card that is designed to help you pay the upfront total cost of dental and medical procedures that your insurance policy will not cover.

While it is a helpful way to get things paid for, it has different financing options that can be pricey in the long run, and you must have good credit to apply. You will also only be able to use this card at locations that accept it.

3. Title Loans:

A title loan can be the easiest way to cover your treatment. If you have a vehicle in your name, you can use the title to obtain funds!

With Max Cash Title Loans, you can get connected to thousands of lenders across the United States. Paying for your dental treatment has never been easier! Borrowers that get approved can get their cash in as little as 24 hours.1 2
